It is estimated that 16 billion injections are administered worldwide each year, but not all needles and syringes are properly disposed of afterwards.
In some cases, open burning and low-temperature incineration of medical waste can lead to the emission of dioxins, furans, and particulate matter.

Medical waste includes five categories: infectious waste, hazardous waste, pharmaceutical waste, chemical waste, and pathological waste.

Product Description

The overall investment in incineration equipment is relatively large, and the environmental risk of microwave disinfection is high. Chemical disinfection has significant environmental risks, and the pre-treatment is relatively complex. Through comprehensive comparison of several waste treatment methods, it is found that high-temperature steam treatment of medical waste has the advantages of low investment costs, low equipment operating costs, simple treatment operation procedures, no generation of pollutants such as smoke and dioxins during the treatment process, and intermittent operation of treatment equipment. So far, it has been widely applied.


The high-temperature steam treatment process mainly includes feeding unit, high-temperature steam treatment unit, crushing unit, waste gas treatment unit, waste liquid treatment unit, automatic control unit, steam supply unit, disinfection and cleaning unit, etc.
 

Feeding unit:

Pour medical waste into the sterilization transfer frame specially configured for the autoclave, and the cage frame will automatically transport the transfer frame to the autoclave. When the autoclave is full, close the front and rear autoclave doors and wait for sterilization treatment.

Sterilization treatment

After the two autoclave doors are closed, press the "Sterilization" button, and the system will automatically perform its own sterilization process. Sterilization treatment is divided into five stages: pre vacuum vent cold air, heating, sterilization,vacuum drying, drainage and exhaust to ensure sterilization effectiveness.

Discharge crushing

After the front door is fully opened, the transmission mechanism inside the sterilization kettle automatically sends out the transfer frames one by one. Through the turnover of the cage frame conveyor line, they are sent to the elevator, which rises and pours the sterilized medical waste into the crusher for crushing. Crushing and shaping treatment can prevent illegal recycling and make subsequent incineration or landfilling more convenient.

Collect and transport

Send the crushed waste to the garbage truck and finally to the disposal site
